The 123-apartment community is located at 330 Claremont Lane in Old Trail Village and offers independent living, assisted living and memory care for seniors. Residents began moving into the new building on May 21.
“From our earliest days of planning, to the dirty days of construction, to tonight’s formal grand opening, we have been blessed with tremendous support by those in the Crozet and Charlottesville areas,” Hilliard said. “This grand opening is not only a celebration of our significant milestone, but a ‘thank you’ to those near and far who have supported us along the way.”
“We are overwhelmed by the tremendous amount of interest in The Lodge at Old Trail,” stated Executive Director Judy Bowes. “On the day we officially opened, we were over thirty-five percent reserved and we are over our occupancy goals. This shows our area has been seeking a fresh approach to senior living; a fresh approach that comes with value and sensibility.”
