Craft and home business expo to be held

During a home party hosted by Robin Martin-Lawson, the owner of RML Event Management, the idea was born for a collaborative event for these crafters and business owners to gain more visibility in the community, sell products and book home parties. Martin-Lawson, a skilled event planner and coordinator, felt that she could help her friends and others do just that.

On Sept. 23, a Crafters and Home Business Expo will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Lake Monticello Clubhouse. More than 20 crafters, artisans and home-based business owners will present their products for an early Christmas shopping extravaganza! Door prizes will be raffled to shoppers who visit each booth. Boy Scout Troop 54 will wrap gifts and carry purchases to vehicles.

Businesses will include Alison’s Alterations, Joyce’s Jewelry and Crafts, Beijo Bags and Accessories, Christi’s Crocheted Creations, Mary Kay, MollyTogs, Scentsy, Shioban Soapery, Silpada, Stampin’ Up Cards and Stamps, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, and Women on Wine.

If you are interested in participating as a vendor, please contact Robin Martin-Lawson at 434-960-4600.
