The highlight of the night was the 2012 Fluco homecoming parade held before the game on Rt. 53. The parade began at Pleasant Grove and ended at the high school. The homecoming parade was impressive, featuring 30 vehicles and floats. David Small, who helped organize the parade, said, “it will only get better in the years to come as more people participate.”
Even Sheriff Ryant Washington got in on the action associated with the parade as he stood out on Rt. 53 in front of the high school and helped direct traffic. – David Stemple
