Sylvia Frawley, who was the event organizer reports that this year’s tournament raised for the Susan G. Komen charity, which is a national charity established in 1982 to raise money to educate women regarding breast cancer, and contribute funds to the search for a cure. Frawley notes that she was ably assisted in organizing this year’s tournament by Ande Kirchenheiter and Jan Shattls. Frawley also noted that she is very thankful for all the help she has received over the years from a host of volunteers.
