Basketball: FLucos win home opener

Fluco sophomores Vinnie Agee and Jalen Harrison led the way with 28 and 20 points respectively. The Flucos ran to a 17 point half time lead and coasted to the win. Fluco Coach Munro Rateau noted that his team played its best half of the season in the first half, but he was not pleased with his teams second half play, noting “we have to learn to play a full 36 minutes. It is not a bad thing when a young team is still feeling its way, but winning by double digits.” – Duncan Nixon
