Flucos fall to the Hornets

After a very low scoring first half, the Flucos moved out to a five point lead after three quarters. However, Orange came back and hit three three pointers in the final stanza. The third three put Orange up 40-38 with 40 seconds left. The Flucos were unable to tie or regain the lead and, as a result, fall to 8-2 for the season. Coach Rateau noted after the game that “they made their shots (at the end) and we didn’t and that is what wins basketball games.” Sophomore Vinnie Agee led the Flucos in scoring with 21 points. – Duncan Nixon.
