He was an active member of Thomas Jefferson Memorial Church in Charlottesville, VA. Gene graduated with a Master degree in Psychology from Emory and Henry University. He enjoyed genealogy, tennis and playing scrabble.
Gene is survived by his loving wife, Juliane Milburn; sons, Ian, Morgan and Logan Milburn.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Thomas Jefferson Memorial Church in Charlottesville, VA. Interment on Monday, December 3 at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg, VA.
