The Flucos trailed by one after three quarters, but as Coach Munro Rateau noted after the game “Jalen (Harrison) took over at the end of the game.” Harrison, a strong and athletic sophomore, took the ball to the basket relentlessly in the final quarter and scored 11 of his game high 27 in the final stanza. Fellow sophomore Vinnie Agee contribute 24, including two three pointers in the fourth quarter. The Flucos will now play for the Jefferson District title on Friday night at 8 against Western Albemarle High School. – Duncan Nixon
