The 2013-14 School Calendar proposal was developed through a committee of parents and school staff. The Committee conducted an online survey of stakeholders and reviewed the comments given through the survey to make revisions to the proposed calendar prior to presenting it to the School Board.
The key elements of the 2013-14 calendar are:
• August 12 is the first day for students.
• First Semester ends prior to Winter Break.
• Spring Break is the March 31 – April 4.
• May 23, 2014 is the last day of school, pending inclement weather.
• Graduation is May 24, 2014.
The School Board adopted a calendar for 2014-15, as well, to help stakeholders plan in advance. The 2014-15 calendar follows the same parameters as the 2013-14 calendar.
