Elizabeth Franklin and Mike Sheridan are vying for the Columbia district; Rick Kelly and Tony O’Brien are running for the Rivanna post. The Fluvanna Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event that was held Wednesday evening. One had to look closely to discern any real differences among the candidates. All called for economic development and fully funding schools. Franklin and Kelly called for more studies to be done before committing resources to building up Zion Crossroads; O’Brien said enough studies have been done and decisions need to be soon.
