Daniel Wayne Pace

Wayne was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Peoples Life Insurance after many years as an insurance agent. More recently, he was an employee at Health Nutz Fitness and Aquatic Center. Waynel was an avid golfer and all around sports fan. He also loved dancing and working in his yard.
Survivors include his wife of ten years, Linda Thacker Pace, his children, Terry Cole and her husband William, Bonnie Kosco, Kim Haislip and her husband Jeff, Karen Denby, Danny Pace and his wife Brandy; a stepson, Joey Leake; and ten grandchildren, Billy Cole, Ben Cole, Kristi Kosco, Michelle Kosco, McKenzie Haislip, Christopher Haislip, Tyler Denby, Alicia Pace, Amber Pace,  Alexis Pace, and stepgrandson Duyllon Leake; two great-grandchildren Rowen Grace and Eva Cole. Also surviving him are two brothers, Bobby Pace and his wife Becky and Stanley Pace and his wife Tia, and two sisters, Barbara Chambers and her husband Bobby and Diann Bishop and her partner Charlie Poindexter; brothers-in-law Gene Thacker and his wife Charlotte and Tommy Thacker and his wife Marie, and many nieces and nephews.
At his request, a private family service will be held at a later date.
