Emogene was committed to the Fluvanna community. She supported the work of the Historical Society and served on the Board of Trustees for the Fluvanna County Public Library. She was an enthusiastic supporter of her husband’s role in agriculture in Fluvanna.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 19, 2014 at Fluvanna Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
The family received friends on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Fluvanna Baptist Church.
