Christine Nothnagle

Christine Nothnagle, 97, of Fork Union, Va., went to be with our Lord on Sept. 12, 2017. She was born in South Hadley, Mass., on July 25, 1920. She was a nurse during World War II and raised a family of four with her devoted late husband, Oscar Nothnagle. She loved to cook and was dedicated to both her church and family. She is survived by her son, Chris; daughters, Nancy, Janet and Marcia; four grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Patrick and Christy; and four great grandchildren, Lexie, Chloe, Malachi, and Lucy. A celebration of her life will be held at Palmyra United Methodist Church on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palmyra United Methodist Church, 258 Palmyra Way, Palmyra, Va., 22963.
