Our loving dad passed away Aug. 21, 2017.
It’s so hard to let you go. But you got your wish, Dad. You missed her every day. You are finally with the love of your life. Your beautiful wife, Terry Gilligan, passed away Sept. 16, 2016, on your 66th wedding anniversary. You were together since you were 20. Quite a life to be proud of. You were so lost without her, Dad. You missed her so much and loved her so. Every day you wished you could be with her. You are okay now, Dad. The night you passed away I saw the most beautiful shooting star in the sky and I knew you made it. You are with the love of your life. That’s all you ever wanted. We’re so happy for you. We couldn’t be that selfish, Dad, to keep you with us forever. And now forever is with our beautiful Mom. Just keep flying, Dad, and reach up, and she’ll take your hand. And now forever is in heaven together, and no one will ever separate you.
Twas heaven to have both of you as a Mom and a Dad and a Nana and a Pop. No two people could ever be so loved. To have had you in our lives was truly the greatest gift of all: love. You will always be missed so much. And now heaven has two angels together again, two characters, so sweet, so kind, so loving. It’s heaven who is twice blessed. The stars in the sky are brighter now because you are together again.
You will always be the wind beneath our wings. Don’t forget, Dad…fly. She will reach out her hand.
God love you both. We will always, always love you.
Love your family: daughter Doreen Schuett, husband Rob, their children Ryan Elizabeth Baird, husband Todd, their son Scott Schuett and great granddaughter Miss Olivia Baird, daughter Karen Cailteux and son Michael Gregory Cailteux.
Let us rejoice as Mom and Dad go hand in hand in a mass given in their honor, a celebration of their lives at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, blessed with Father Gerald, on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. with coffee and cake to follow. Please come and share the love.
