Update: Robbery

Troxell was arrested at his home in Chesterfield County outside Richmond Oct. 12. Investigators with the Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office “were able to obtain sufficient probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant for Troxell for the robbery,” announced Capt. David Wells in a press release. The arrest was carried out by the Chesterfield County Police Department.

Troxell also faces charges in Chesterfield. He is charged with one count of assault on a law enforcement officer and one count of obstruction or resisting arrest by use of threat or force. His preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 16 in Chesterfield.

Troxell is being held without bond at Central Virginia Regional Jail.

Authorities have not said how much money was stolen in the robbery. No one was injured.
