Erika Marta Stuart, 78, of Lake Monticello, Virginia passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018.
Born on May 15, 1940 in West Bend, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Martha Wingert.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Stuart; two daughters, Andrea Phillips (Will) and Laura Campbell (Chris); three grandchildren, Riley Phillips, Harper Campbell, and Ella Phillips; extended family, Maricel and Lila Caballero (and their children); good friends, Millie and Al Budney; and a host of many extended family and friends.
She was preceded by her parents, Leo and Martha Wingert; two brothers, Hans and Frans Wingert; three grandchildren, Jesse Phillips, Tanner Phillips, and Hunter Campbell.
A Celebration of Erika’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16th, 2018, at Lake Christian Church, 733 South Boston Road, Palmyra, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations in Erika’s name be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Pkwy Suite 200, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
