Roy Alan, “Rocky” Lucado

Roy Alan, “Rocky” Lucado, age 66, of Palmyra, VA, passed away peacefully at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital on Monday, March 22, 2021 with family at his side. Rocky was born on June 25, 1954 in Princeton, WV to the late Virgil Walter Lucado and Mildred Wiley Lucado. He was a graduate of Princeton Senior High School in 1972 and went on to attend Concord University, where he received a degree in Business Administration and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Rocky worked for years in the automotive industry and retired from Weber City BP in Fork Union, Virginia. He surely loved his customers. Rocky brought laughter wherever he went and will be missed by many. He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Lucado Belcher, her husband Brandon, and two grand-dogs Ellie and Shade of Culloden, West Virginia; brother, Jerry Lucado and his wife Debbie of Palmyra, Virginia; brother, Barry Lucado of Rustburg, Virginia; brother, Gene Lucado and his wife Angela of Hardy, Virginia; sister-in-law, Lisa White Lucado of Charleston, South Carolina; along with many extended family members and beloved friends.  Rocky was preceded in his death by his parents Virgil and Mildred, and his brother Virgil “Lucky” Lucado Jr. Rocky’s family will announce a celebration of life at a later date.
