Mr. Bradley Christopher King, 48, of Charlottesville, Virginia, entered this life on November 21, 1974, in Richmond, Virginia. He was the loving son of Kirwan and Brenda Carolyn Bousman King. Brad graduated from Fluvanna High School class of 1992. After high school Brad attended Longwood College and graduated with a bachelors in business and minor in accounting. Brad was the manager of Jake’s Gas and Go but worked for Jake’s many businesses for 30 years. Brad passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at his residence.
Brad is survived by his brother Korey King of Charlottesville, VA, sister Kari Clemans, her husband Chris Clemans, nieces Chloe Clemans, Mia Clemans and nephew Owen Clemans of Canaan, IN. Brad was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Bernard and Gertrude Bousman and paternal grandparents Raymond and Earlee King.
Brad is going to be missed tremendously by his family and the Fork Union community. He loved to banter with his customers who really were friends. He was faithful, dependable, generous, and had a heart for his community.
Visitation was Wednesday, June 14, 2023, during the hours of 1-2 p.m. The funeral service followed at 2 p.m. Both services were held at the Fork Union Military Academy Chapel, 4744 James Madison Highway, Fork Union, Virginia. Interment immediately followed at the Fork Union Memorial Cemetery, 4218 James Madison Highway, Fork Union, Virginia.
