The Adrian Maurice Cary Scholarship Foundation awarded three Fluvanna County High School Students $3,000 each in scholarships.
The AMC scholarship was organized under the umbrella of Providing Resources to Inspire, Develop & Empower (PRIDE), Inc. which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization of Fluvanna County established in 2010.
PRIDE, Inc strives to be an exemplary leader in its community by identifying and meeting human needs through the development of innovative programs, services, and strategic partnerships.
Its mission is to provide resources to inspire, develop and empower the residents of the community. PRIDE will pursue this purpose through programs and services designed to foster youth development and family values; promote health and wellness; support neighborhood and community vitality; encourage financial planning and economic empowerment and commit to strategic and innovative solutions for meeting community needs that positively impact the present and future lives.
