Over the weekend of Aug. 12 and 13 the Member-Member golf tournament was contested at the Lake Monticello golf course. This was a co-ed event as evidenced by the winning teams. The format was the best score of the two scores by team members on each hole. There were separate contests for best gross score and best net score (handicaps taken into consideration.)

The best gross score was an impressive 69, 68 for 137 posted by the team of Edward Cutler and Mike Mundell. Right behind them, only two strokes back was the team of Stan Leap and Brian Shumaker. Third place in the gross score competition went to the team of Charlene French and Sarah Johnson.

The same three teams came in atop the leader board in the net score competition, but in reverse order. French and Johnson won the net score competition with a very impressive first round of 59, followed by a 68 for a combined score of 127. Leap and Shumaker came in at 129, while Cutler and Mundell shot a net of 130. Also at 130, were the team of Lisa Lounsbury and Katie Mundell and the team of David French and Ken Oukrop.

The Member-Member tournament has been gaining more competitors since COVID and is now a major competition on the Lake Monticello golf course calendar.
