Fluvanna County voters turned out on March 5 for Donald Trump and Joe Biden at the statewide presidential primaries.
On the Republican side, Trump carried 65.7 percent of the votes to Nikki Hailey’s 32.6 percent. Candidates who have already dropped out — including Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Chris Christie — each picked up a handful of votes.
On the Democratic ballot, Joe Biden won 90.6 percent of the vote, with Marianne Williamson receiving 5.4 percent and Dean Phillips receiving 3.9 percent.
This was a low-turnout vote, with just 2,270 Republican ballots and 1,135 Democratic ballots cast. According to the Virginia Department of Elections, Fluvanna currently has 20,413 registered voters.
