Fluco Swim & Dive shows outstanding effort

Our Swim & Dive team represented Fluvanna County very well over the last couple of days with outstanding effort, teamwork and individual performances at the state meets.  

Alex Fuller (Sr.) ~ double state champion! An extraordinary achievement that cannot be overstated!

1st in the 50 Free – 23.06 – new school record.

1st in the 100 Butterfly – 53.62 – new school record.

Also, both of Alex’s times earned her the All-American Cut.

Girls 400 Free Relay ~ 5th Place – 3:49.83 – new school record:

Alex Fuller (Sr.), Abby Caruso (Fr.), Madison Clark (So.), Sophie Pace (Jr.).

Girls 200 Free Relay ~ 5th Place – 1:43.12:

Reese Yowell (Jr.), Abby Carsuo (Fr.), Sophie Pace (Jr.), Alex Fuller (Sr.)

Girls 200 Medley Relay ~ 15th Place – 2:05.24:

Abby Caruso (Fr.), Josie Caruso (So.), Sophie Pace (Jr.), Reese Yowell (Jr.)

Abby Caruso (Fr.) ~ 13th in the 100 Free – 56.98 – Her new PR.

Levi Rensch (Fr.) ~ 16th in the 500 Free – 5:32.94 – His new PR.

Kayleigh Herring (So.) ~ 3rd in the 1-Meter Dive – 336.95 – Her new PR.

Cash Johnson (So.) ~ 4th in the 1-Meter Dive – 360.15 – His new PR.

James Johnson (Jr.) ~ 6th in the 1-Meter Dive – 278.10 – His new PR.

Tony Myrsten (Fr.) ~ 10th in the 1-Meter Dive – 231.90.

We are very proud of these young people, their effort, sportsmanship, and representation as Flucos!
