Hensley’s Antiques quickly became a local favorite even before its grand opening on Aug. 13, thanks to rapid word of mouth. Tucked away at 202 Turkeysag Trail across from Gia’s Restaurant, this little shopping gem offers a treasure trove of antiques, collectibles, and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces. Each visit promises new discoveries, with many items sourced from local estate sales and collections. Hensley’s Antiques is the perfect spot to browse leisurely.

A native of Fluvanna, Frank (Frankie) Hackett named the store for his daughter Hensley. Hackett’s father had a love for antiques and thrift shopping, and a good bargain. That passion was passed onto him. Hensley is in training for a third generation antique collector with the dad, mom Rachel, and grandma.

The colorful store features antiques, collectibles, furniture, jewelry, and more. The prices are reasonable. The shop is open Tuesday-Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
