Fluvanna Review Staff
This summer, the Fluvanna Review invited the community to help us capture the beauty, charm, and spirit of life here at home through our first-ever Summer in Fluvanna Photo Contest. We were blown away by the creativity and talent of local photographers who submitted stunning images of Fluvanna’s people, places, and summer moments.
The contest is now closed, and we’re excited to announce that the winning photo by Justin Agoglia of Scottsville is featured on this week’s cover. He will also receive a $50 cash prize for his outstanding entry.
In addition to our winner, we’d like to highlight several honorable mentions that truly showcase the variety of summer in our county — from golden fields and playful pets to vibrant sunsets and community gatherings. These images reflect the unique ways our residents experience and celebrate Fluvanna.
This effort was designed to engage our community and provide an opportunity for residents to share Fluvanna. We’re grateful to everyone who participated and hope to conduct more opportunities like this in the future to highlight local voices and perspectives.
All submitted photos will also become part of the Fluvanna Review’s growing photo archive, helping us share authentic local scenes throughout the year to accompany stories and community features.
