Mary Evelyn (Blalock) Styzle, 87 years old of Palmyra Virginia, went to be home with the Lord on October 28th, 2025, in Brick, NJ. Born July 15th, 1938, in Lenoir North Carolina, Mary adored her father Travis, loved the outdoors as a child catching fireflies with her sister at dusk, then having family picnics on Sundays at Boon Mountain. She married the love of her life Donald Styzle Sr. on May 3rd, 1958, and moved to Port Reading, NJ to start a family. Eventually they would retire and settle in Palmyra, Virginia where they would spend time together on their front porch watching the deer in the evenings. Mary never missed an opportunity to dress to impress as she was a fashionista along with never missing holidays with her family. Mary enjoyed socializing with her friends at Dunkin Donuts along with enjoying her favorite music by Frank Sinatra along with Michael Buble’.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Donald Styzle Sr.; her mother, Mary Evelyn (Caudle) Blalock, who passed away during childbirth; her father, Travis Blalock; and her sister, Reba Robbins. Surviving are her youngest sister Geneva Hartley and beloved partner Roger Sides of Murrells Inlet, SC; daughters Sherry and husband Todd G LiPira and Sandy Styzle of NJ, and son Donald Styzle Jr. and devoted partner Pamela Smith of Benton, PA, as well as three grandchildren, Amber LiPira and wife Amanda, Storm and Todd Pender and Todd G. and Danielle LiPira; two great grandchildren, Adam Dunn (parents Storm and Todd) and Savannah Grace LiPira (parents Todd G. and Danielle).
