Michael Charles Campagna

Michael Charles Campagna, born September 4th, 1989, was truly one of a kind. A devoted husband, the most incredible father, son, brother, best friend, and coach. He loved fiercely and without limits. Michael served his country with honor in the United States Navy for 18 years as a mentor, teacher, friend, and leader. He was a farmer, an entrepreneur, and a dreamer, creating a future rooted in love while working to build an empire for his wife and children. On December 12th, 2025, Michael was called home. He leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, service, laughter, and a love so deep it will be felt forever. Now, he waits at the gate for those he loves holding the hand of Jesus.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude F. Lapp, Jr., Virginia R. Lapp, Rheta Rogers and Alfred Campagna.

He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Alyssa Donisi Campagna; his children, Raelynn Campagna (11) and Jamison Campagna (8); his parents, Wayne and Dianna Campagna; his Godparents, Michael and Penny Lapp; his siblings, Kim Campagna (Barry), Stephanie Black (Jason) and Stephen Campagna (Kimi); mother-in-law, Christy Donisi and sister-in law Elizabeth Blaylock (Earl); nieces and nephews, Brody, Kyleigh, Savannah, Reece, Knox, Andrea and Kyle; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, fellow sailors, friends & a baseball family all with whom he shared a mutual love.

Services will be held on December 18th, 2025 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Suffolk, VA. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, with the funeral beginning at 2:00 PM. The livestream will be available at www.youtube.com/@hbcsuffolk. A reception to honor Michael will be held immediately following. R.W. Baker & Co.
