Lynn Stayton Eurell has won her 17th award from the Virginia Press Association, helping bring the Fluvanna Review’s total to 104 honors.
The Virginia Press Association is a statewide organization representing 160 newspapers across the Commonwealth. Its annual award competition recognizes excellence in journalism, advertising, and design at its annual award ceremony each April.
Stayton Eurell was recognized in the Member Self-Promotion category for her work on the paper’s distribution map, a tool designed to help readers locate the Fluvanna Review at more than 95 pickup locations across Fluvanna County, Louisa, and surrounding areas.
The category highlights in-house creativity—advertising and promotional materials designed and produced by newspaper staff rather than outside sources. It includes brand promotion, special sections, digital initiatives, and circulation efforts, as well as creative advertising strategy and design.
Recently named the Fluvanna Review’s Advertising Art Director, Stayton Eurell has played a key role in shaping the Review’s visual identity and advertising approach. Her work reflects a blend of creativity and strategy aimed at both serving clients and strengthening the newspaper’s brand.
Stayton Eurell has been with the Fluvanna Review since 2012.
