After finishing as runner-up in the state Cal Ripken 8U (age 8 and under) tournament, the Fluvanna 8U Allstar boys have earned a bid to the regional tournament in Ocala, Fla. The 8U Flucos finished undefeated in their District 5 tournament and have a tournament play record of 11-2. They were awarded the Don Rose Memorial State Commissioner’s Sportsmanship Team Award. Faith, kindness and integrity are the cornerstones for the Fluvanna Flucos. Manager Easton Loving believes the primary goal of baseball is to teach the boys about life and leadership. These boys, teammates since t-ball, have learned to battle through adversity and appreciate your support as they journey to Ocala.
