Why did you choose the University of Virginia?
As I am planning to attend medical school after undergrad, I plan on spending much of my free time volunteering and shadowing at the UVA Hospital. UVA is a great school with a world-renowned hospital. I have already formed relationships with some of the staff at the hospital and will use those connections to further my knowledge of patient care.
What will you remember most about being a Fluco?
I will remember the school spirit at pep rallies, and how we all pull together as Flucos.
Who are some of the people that you would like to thank?
I would like to thank the staff of Fluvanna County Public Schools as they have shaped me into the person I am today.
What is a Fluco?
A Fluco is someone motivated to make a difference in the world around them.

Class of 2020 Paul W. Bragg scholarship recipients
Fluvanna County High School is pleased to announce recipients of the Paul W. Bragg Scholarship. Established by Mr. Bragg’s will, and managed by the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, the scholarship is meant, “to provide undergraduate college assistance based on both need and merit to graduates of Fluvanna County High School.”
This year $130,000 in new scholarship money was available to members of the Class of 2020. One $40,000 scholarship- payable over four years, four $10,000 scholarships, eight $5,000 scholarships, and five $2,000 scholarships were announced May 28, 2020.
