Timothy Hodge will seek election to the Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors this November.
He has filed to run as an Independent in the Palmyra District currently represented by retiring Supervisor Patricia Eager.
Hodge’s said his top priorities include sound financial stewardship, improving services, increasing citizen engagement, and promoting smart planned growth.
“Fluvanna needs smart growth in a planned and productive fashion,” he said. “Creating job opportunities, expanding consumer choice, and providing additional revenue streams for the county allows us to grow and prosper as a community.”
His career and professional experience include 20 Years Air Force veteran, corporate executive for a global security printer and security architect for a social housing charity. He most recently worked for the Fluvanna County government, serves on the Fluvanna Agricultural-Forestal District Advisory Committee, is a member of Save Rural Fluvanna and is a volunteer with the Lake Monticello Fire Department.
