The Lake Monticello Youth Golf Foundation has been named the recipient of a grant from Better Living Building Supply.
The prize was awarded after Better Living reviewed the Foundation’s application. That process took many weeks and involved numerous entries from 501 (c) (3) organizations.
In announcing the award, Better Living said they were “thrilled that this donation is going to such a wonderful organization. It is clear your hearts are in this work, and we admire the difference you are making.”
“We are grateful to have been selected by Better Living for this award,” said foundation president Terry Heyer. “As a non-profit, we work hard to generate every dollar we can so that we can continue to support kids learning and playing golf. This donation allows us to move forward in fulfilling that mission.”
The Youth Golf Foundation and its Directors promote golf for youth by supporting awareness, events, instruction, practice, and competition. It emphasizes that golf is a lifelong activity that fosters responsibility, perseverance, integrity, and sportsmanship.
