Junior Troy Coleman led the Flucos with a 91. Coleman was strong on the back nine, with a 44. Next best for the Flucos was junior Dylon Garrett, who carded a 96, Garrett had a very respectable 46 on the tough front nine. These were the only Fluco golfers to break 100, Junior Derek Warner and senior Chris Pressly finished with 103 and 105 respectively. While each team has six players compete, in this format, only the best four scores count in determining the team scores.
The Flucos finished in last place, as Powhatan won the mini-match with an overall score of 317.
Fluco Coach Brian Searcy is guiding his team over the challenging Lake Monticello course this year, following the teams’ past several year use of the now defunct Rivanna Ridge course as a home venue.
