Expansion

The new equipment and buildings will “streamline product flow, dramatically improve waste recovery and recycling, and allow for a significant increase in shipping efficiency,” according to the press release.

The expansion will create several new positions at the Troy facility and the increased production should also benefit and support logistical companies throughout the local area, the release state.

Northland, a New Hampshire based company, first established the Troy plant in 1984 and has improved and expanded the facility multiple times over its 28 year history.   Northland produces its own brand of hardwood lumber for markets in the United States and 26 countries around the world.
