Veteran Fluco coach Munro Rateau noted that his squad is still working on making adjustments during a game. He also noted that Albemarle is a pre-season co-favorite in the District. Rateau believes his squad will develop and progress as the season proceeds. In this game, the Flucos were led by freshman Amir Simms who had 8 points and several impressive blocks, before going out with a back injury.
