The Flucos handed the Black Knights an insurmountable 26-0 half time lead, but came back strong in the second half. The Flucos outscored Charlottesville 12-7 in the second half, but fell to their fourth consecutive loss. With the win Charlottesville climbs to 3-1. Junior running back Mark Grooms ran especially well for the Flucos in the second half with a 29 yard touchdown run and another run for 26. Senior quarterback Gavin Patrick passed for a 20 yard touchdown. The game was played on a Thursday because the University of Virginia football team is playing at home tonight. – Duncan Nixon
