The Fluco girls’ and boys’ track and field teams both scored complete runaway victories at home Wednesday (April 24). The two teams were indeed “flying” Flucos. The boys’ squad outscored Orange County by 111-15, and the girls’ squad was even better, winning 114-12.

The Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors raised taxes about 3.6 percent Wednesday evening (April 24). Three of the five supervisors agreed to set the real estate tax rate at 92.5 cents, up from the equalized rate of 89.3 cents. Supervisors Don Weaver and Tony O'Brien dissented.
