The Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors decided Wednesday (March 27) to advertise a real property tax rate of 93.5 cents per $100 valuation.
The current equalized tax rate is 89.3 cents, so if supervisors adopt the advertised rate, taxes will increase by about 4.7 percent.
