We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Lake Monticello Police, the rescue squad, and the Lake Monticello Owners’ Association for their rapid response to our call to 911 during the recent snow storm. The association sent a snow plow over to make the driveway accessible to the rescue squad. Officer Tony Abbott of the LMPD shoveled the walkway to allow gurney access to our home. The professionalism of all involved was outstanding. We were former summer residents at the Lake and have now become full-timers – what a good decision on our part! This is certainly the community with a heart.
