The Chickenhead Blues BandIt’s been a long time coming but the time is finally here to show off the Fluvanna’s new performance venue. With the building of the new Fluvanna County High School, Fluvanna now boasts a 996 seat state-of-the-art auditorium complete with high-end sound and lighting systems. But this space is more than just lighting and sound, it is very easy on the eyes. With not a bad seat in the house the gold and chocolate colored seating add depth to a space dominated by red brick, slate grey block, and redwood side walls. The large stage is highlighted with light pine hardwood flooring downstage and with dark brown flooring upstage. Overhead there are long brushed aluminum panels flowing from the front of the stage in large waves. With its technical complements and stunning décor this auditorium is arguably one of the best in Central Virginia.
