Attendees should park in the rear of the school in the students’ and events parking lot. This lot can be reached by taking the eastern school entrance which is the closest to Pleasant Grove. This driveway goes through a traffic circle and continues to the rear of the building. Once parked, participants should follow the signs into the building via the cafeteria doors. The tours will last about 45 minutes.
Plans are also being made for the ribbon cutting which will be held on Sunday August 5 at 4 p.m. This event will mark the official opening of the school and the beginning of the 2012 school year. The dedication ceremony is now set for Sunday October 14 also at 4 p.m.
The new school is set to open this fall with all teachers reporting on August 6 with the students’ arrival a week later on August 13. For more information regarding any of these events contact the high school at 434-589-3666.
