Recently, the Town of Columbia “hired” the class to help us with some long overdue clean up in and around our Town Hall. We were blown away by their attention to detail and how efficiently they transformed years of dust and clutter.
Mr. Ward’s class uses opportunities like this to obtain real life job skills. In fact, several students have gotten jobs outside of school since the beginning of the year using the skills learned through this course. They clean, they landscape, they paint- you name it! It’s a real win-win situation. I highly recommend anyone looking for assistance to consider contacting Nicholas Ward (nward@apps.fluco.org or 434-960-3327). They work for donations that are reinvested in this wonderful program! It’s an awesome way to get work done while helping this great cause.
