I would like to thank the rescue squad and the police for their quick response and great care which they gave me on Nov. 16.
While home alone I suffered a stroke. Their quick response allowed the doctors at Martha Jefferson Hospital to treat me and prevent any permanent after effects.
For that I am very thankful.
I’m also thankful for my wonderful neighbors Chris and Mel Kennedy who helped care for my dogs while I was in the hospital.
Lastly I want to say a special thanks to Officer Joe from the Lake Monticello police who took the time to personally care for my dogs until my neighbors got home. Thank you one and all.
