Charities to benefit

The United Methodist Men of Palmyra and Salem voted at its December meeting to give the net proceeds from its Nov. 17 spaghetti dinner to Fluvanna charities which include Fluvanna Christian Service Society, Habitat for Humanity, and Meals on Wheels.
We would like to thank all who helped us with this fund raising project for the above listed charities: Fluvanna County schools for use of the Central Elementary School cafeteria, Rose Denby, the cafeteria manager, “Coustic Cookin” for providing music for entertainment, those that furnished desserts, the men who helped with preparation and serving, and, last but not least, those that supported our cause by buying tickets.
