Fluco pole vaulters Chance Parmly and Hannah Meader finished third and fourth respectively. Parmly accomplished his third place finish while vaulting with an injured thumb. Nicki Douma finished 10th in the 1600 meter with a time that qualifies for the state meet. Chris Markham also ran a state qualifying time in the 1000 meter and established a new school record with a time of 2:37.93. Outstanding performances in field events were turned in by Terrell Key and Karel Bruce who were both 8th place finishers, in the long jump and the triple jump respectively. – Duncan Nixon.
