He immediately contacted the FCPS superintendent. This kicked off a domino effect; the paperwork was completed in record time. Mr. Rittenhouse recognized the timing issue and was responsive, rather than passing the buck to someone else in the school system. I saw Mr. Rittenhouse at Pleasant Grove a few weeks later and he asked how my daughter was doing in school. She was a person to him, not just an email or a number. Mr. Rittenhouse stepped up as a leader when my daughter needed one most. With past School Boards, I would send an email to the entire board and get a response from the School Board chair or from the superintendent. Mr. Rittenhouse is always responsive when I have called or emailed him. This is what I want in my School Board representative. I hope you will join me in voting for Mr. Charles Rittenhouse, next Tuesday, November 5.
