Tenaska in politics?

I am very concerned to find that Tenaska is now getting involved in Fluvanna politics, endorsing candidates which may play a role in voting for future Tenaska projects, etc. Should this very large company out of Nebraska be trying to affect who wins our local elections? Does Walmart do the same? How can the voice of regular citizens in Fluvanna compete with the resources and influence of a multibillion dollar company like Tenaska?
With so much attention these days to big corporate influence on politics at the higher levels, it only makes sense to be concerned by the same at home.
