Happy success

Many thanks to Ande Kirchenheiter and Linda Smith and their team of volunteers who give their time and talent preparing the toys including the Newcomers and Old Friends Club of Lake Monticello. Thank you to Bertha Armstrong, and Paula Cormier and her team who prepared and packed the food bags and Frank Brown for coordinating the chickens and fruit. Thank you to Central Elementary School which allowed us to use its facility on the day of the party. There are so many to volunteers who made the day special for all who attended. Thank you to the Rev. June Clifford, our program host, along with Nikki Tardiff and the band Found. Fork Union Military Academy and Fluvanna County High School Interact Clubs helped with the setup and escorting families; Knights of Columbus brought new coats, Santa Claus George Kullo and Bobby Waugh donated cake. A special thank you to Joan Sola for coordinating and organizing the senior portion of Happy Face. A last big thank you to Brian Orahood, the Fluvanna Christian Service Society director, who continues to lead us as we serve those in need in our community.
