The project should be completed before the end of the year, according to a press release from the company.
Since acquiring the systems in 2003, Aqua has spent more than $5.1 million on improvements to the water treatment plant and distribution system and nearly $16 million on improvements to the wastewater treatment plant and collection system, Aqua said in the release. Aqua serves about 11,000 people in and around Lake Monticello.
