The Home that Faith Built

There are creative ways churches can support The Home that Faith Built!
• Make this project the recipient for donations from Vacation Bible School;
• Have children decorate 2x4s with messages of faith and love- and Habitat will use the 2x4s in building The Home that Faith Built!;
• Host a choir concert among several churches to benefit The Home that Faith Built!;
• Place special offering envelopes in church bulletins for one month;
• Invite the community around you to a “Music in Our Meadow” event as an afternoon of music for the whole family, with proceeds benefitting The Home that Faith Built!;
• Envision this home building as a multi-weekend mission trip for your church… a mission trip right in your own back yard;
• Hold a focused prayer vigil for God’s leadership of this faith build.
Churches able to provide volunteer building teams are asked to contact Ralynn Welsh, volunteer coordinator for Fluvanna County Habitat for Humanity, at 434-589-3752 or fluvannahabitatvc@live.com by Aug. 1. Online registration for individuals wishing to participate will be available starting August 4th at www.fluvannahabitat.org.
