Hess has people skills

A 21-year public safety veteran, Sheriff Hess has shown leadership and administrative skills so essential in managing a police organization, staying within budget while maximizing the use of available resources. That he dedicated several years as an adjunct university professor in criminal justice while performing his law enforcement duties, just adds to the prestige and respect that he brings to the office of sheriff.
